Purpose
Use My Work Tasks to locate and review work, accept a pending assignment or self-assign an available task, place work on hold and resume it, and add comments or supporting photos.

Before you begin
Confirm that you have access to IBM TRIRIGA Work Task.
Know the task name, task ID, asset, or location you need to review.
Confirm that an unassigned task is appropriate for you to accept before taking ownership.
Have a supporting image available when it will help document the work or issue.
Find and Review a Work Task
Step 1: Open My Work Tasks
1. Login to IBM TRIRIGA Work Task - https://frs-qa.usgov.tririga.com/p/web/workTask
2. Select In Progress to review work currently assigned to you.
3. Select Unassigned to review available tasks that have not been accepted.
4. Use the Task, Asset, or Location search option and the available filters to narrow the list.
Step 2: Review the task details
1. Select the task name or task ID to open the work task.
2. Confirm the task type, status, priority, primary location, classification, description, and planned dates.
3. Expand Requests, Locations, Assets, Procedures, Materials, Parts, Assigned People, and Comments and Photos as needed.
4. Confirm that you opened the correct task before changing its assignment or status.
Accept or Self-Assign a Work Task
Step 1: Accept the task
1. Open the pending task from the applicable task list.
2. Review the task details and confirm that you should take ownership.
3. Select Accept.
4. Wait for the task to finish processing.
Step 2: Verify the assignment
1. Return to My Work Tasks.
2. Select In Progress.
3. Confirm that the accepted task appears in your active work list and is available for work.
Place a Task on Hold and Resume It
Step 1: Place the task on hold
1. Open an active work task.
2. Select Hold and choose the applicable hold reason.
3. Confirm that the task status changes to the selected hold status and that Resume becomes available.
Step 2: Resume the task
1. Open the task that is currently on hold.
2. Select Resume.
3. Confirm that the task returns to Active status and can be worked normally.
Add Comments and Photos
1. Open the work task and expand Comments and Photos.
2. Enter a comment describing the work performed, current condition, or required follow-up.
3. Select Post and confirm that the comment appears in the activity list.
4. To attach an image, select Attach a photo, choose the image, and open it.
5. Confirm that the image appears with the work task comments.
Expected result
The technician can locate and review the correct task, accept or self-assign eligible work, place work on hold and resume it, and document activity with comments and photos.
