Purpose
Create a new work task, identify its location and service classification, describe the required work, and submit it to your active work list.

Before you begin
Confirm that you have permission to create work tasks.
Know the task name, location, request class, service class, and problem description.
Have any supporting comments or photos ready.
Open a New Work Task
1. Login to IBM Tririag Work Tasks - https://frs-qa.usgov.tririga.com/p/web/workTask
2. Open My Work Tasks.
3. Select New Task.
4. Confirm that the New Work Task form opens and that Assigned to identifies the expected technician.
5. Enter a clear task Name and select a Priority when applicable.
Identify the Location
1. Under Where is the problem?, select the location search icon.
2. Search for and select the applicable building or city.
3. Select the Floor.
4. Select the Room from the available list or use the floor-plan selector.
5. Confirm that the building, floor, and room shown on the form are correct.
Classify and Describe the Work
1. Under What best describes the problem?, select the Request Class.
2. Confirm or select the applicable Service Class.
3. Enter a clear Description of the problem or work required.
4. Under Comments and Photos, add a supporting comment or image when needed and select Post.
Submit and Verify the Task
1. Review the task name, assignee, priority, location, request class, service class, description, comments, and attachments.
2. Select Submit.
3. Return to My Work Tasks if it does not open automatically.
4. Select In Progress and confirm that the new task appears in the list.

Expected result
The new work task is submitted successfully and appears in My Work Tasks with the selected location and classification.
